Mentoring

WISE Within

WISE Within, our national signature mentoring program, connects selected mentors and mentees from the WISE membership in a guided initiative to provide career resource connections. The program is a natural extension of WISE’s mission and is designed to reflect the essence of WISE — to offer guidance and career support for the growth of women moving into leadership and executive positions in the sports and events industries.

The annual program gives dedicated mid-level professionals valuable access to senior-level executives who can share knowledge and experience. It also provides mentors the opportunity to give back to women in the industry by guiding and nurturing the next generation of leaders.

If you are one of those trailblazers who’s been there and seen it in our industry, we welcome your participation as a mentor. If you are at a crossroads in your career and ready to move to that next level, consider achieving your career objectives as a mentee.

More information can be found by visiting www.wiseworks.org and clicking on the WISE Within logo. Read the  WISE WITHIN Release Aug2010 to read the most recent press release about the program and mentor/mentee applications.

The website will also have more information on the program and requirements.  If you have questions or need more information on our annual program, please connect with Sue Gerten, WISE Atlanta’s WISE Within Chair, at wisewithin@wiseatlanta.org.
